Man, that looks like a friggin blast! How often do you come across other people out there when you make this trip?

Fish, it depends on where and when you go.  We went on a weekend so I was shocked that this place didn't have people there.  8 tubers and 3 canoes drifted by.  Other than that, three guys fished from the bank right at the beginning of the evening when we were just about done.  I guess they were after catfish.

Yet, during lunch, we stopped at a spot nearby to check it out for our afternoon wade and it was packed with people swimming, fishing, kayaking... There was probably 50 people there. 

Maybe other days different spots get the pressure, I don't know.  Anyway, we were blessed that day to pretty much have it all to ourselves.

We did some wadding this year for smallies in a local river it was great. I cuaght a couple doven on a small fly rod which made for even more excitement.
