It's a jig designed by our good friend rpdog that I'm adapting to fly patterns.

I'm pretty sure Rg posted some a while back on here just don't remember which page. If not it might have been on shanty but I can't remember. Rg has nocked them out of the ball park.

Few years ago when I was looking for a new vise I came across one  called a nor vise ...seen the price and never looked back
just watched a couple YouTube videos and seen how this guy makes tying look so easy with the vise and auto bobbin...it's def a need for guys spinning hundreds a day ..just wondering if anyone on here uses that auto bobbin? ...get a chance watch how he uses dubbing
channel name is Nor vise

Happy Birthday RG...havn't been on here in awhile...hope you have many more.
I've been tying up some caddis and stoneflies which have been hatching down my way. Fish have been looking up a bit in the afternoons, with the increase in bug activity.I had my first take to a dry last week before the cold snap, waaaay late on the strike...very rusty...been a long time since the last dry fly take. And getting old and slow too. :D
Hope everyone has a safe and fun open water fishing season !
I'm fishing my way through life .

That's a good thing trapper..if you like them you save a ton of money...can get a simply stationary vice for $10-20...what I started with...but since got a peak vise and I have to say might be over priced but I like it a ton  over my starter..

Don't change now Trapper. You're to old to tempt more confusion. ;D I've tied on a few different vises from a Herter's and Thompson AA to my present Dyna King. My indexer is the best thing hats ever sat on my bench for tying. Before that my Danvise was the best thing that ever sat on my bench and before that....the vise I had was the best.

If I ever run across a Law vise, I'll mortgage the farm.

Thanks Choo Choo. I'm doing well for a senior citizen. Thing is, I'm not sure how I became a senior citizen over night. Seems like yesterday I was a young buck full of pee and vinegar.
