We had a tortoise when my kids were young. We used to put a flag on a little stick on her back with silly putty so we could find her in the back yard. She loved to graze. Red foot I believe.

Great pets. Ours was donated to the Seneca Park Zoo.

Where ever she wants..  ;D
We have a LARGE dog crate with hay in it she stays in while inside..Or she just wanders around the house moving the furniture around... ;D

Its hard to believe something so prehistoric could have a personality of there own.. I swear she knows her name and my voice... ;D
Its just hard for me to take care of her at her size...
We adopted her(12 years or so ago) from a girl who didn't/couldn't take the best care of her...
They have a very specific diet.. And shes a Sulcata or Spurred Legged tortoise..  Same thing.. ;D
