Yesterday I walked a local stream that feeds into Otter Creek. I spooked 3 browns that were over 2 feet long, plus other fish that are 15" to 20". I landed a 15" brown on a dry fly/nymph combo around dusk. With the water being low and the weekend being sunny these fish are easy to spot. This type of spawning activity is probably happening on many of the tributaries of the Otter, Winooski, Missisquoi, White. It's worth checking you local creeks if not out hunting.
