How Many Fishing Rods
Sandman:
3 dozen or more. Never enough. Always want more. Was just drawing up plans for a rod locker as they are stashed all over. I should just have a yard sale and downsize.

5 for me
11' steelhead rod
10' crappie rod
2-8.5' n.pike rods
9' flyrod
thats all i need if i had more theyd just gather dust 8)

does that count ice fishing rods?
what about rods w/ out reels?
if so i should adjust mine to choice 7. -- way too freaking many.

Without going home and counting, my guess is somewhere around 45-50 for open water another 15-20 for icefishing. I'm sure I'll buy more before the summer. Oh yeah, I have reels for every rod too. I don't take from one to put on another.
Sandman, when you have that yard sale, gimme a call. :)

I use 5 for muskie, 9 for bait and trolling, and have 7 or 8 that are retired or used for the kids.
