Anyone have any tips for me fishing from shore at wildwood NJ? What baits to use, and what fish there are from shore? any tips would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't know a whole lot about Wildwood but it'll help to know when you are going as to what the primary species to target will be.

Right now theres still tons of fluke to be caught off the beach as well as blackfish off the jetties, resident stripers if you know where to look for them, croakers, bluefish, ect from the beach. Also the shot at spinner and brown sharks should still be there fishing the surf after dark

There should also be schools of hickory shad around but I never targeted them except for on their spawning runs up the Delaware and its tribs. From guys I've talked to though they can be caught on the same tackle; small spinners, shad darts, small spoons, ect
