Well Mt. Hope pond was not safe enough to ice fish today so I ventured just 1 mile from home. So close to home and I haven't spent much time learning it. So today I spent about an hour and a half and found a nice hole, adjusted my indi about another 18-24" deeper and in minutes...........fish on! A male rainbow about 16". I didn't have much time to stay so I couldn't find out how many more are in there. One and done.........maybe Saturday! BTW you'll never guess what he took! You guessed it a #12 brown stonefly, the other choice was a #18 cinnamon midge.
