 Yes sir that is the first shad I’ve seen in a belly of my walleyes all the rest that had bait were banded kill fish but mostly have had perch

That is some forensics right there. I don't think I could tell a banded killfish vs logperch vs a baby walleye once it is in their stomach.

 I took pics and compared them it certainly favored the kill fish but I could be wrong , as they weren’t digested ,and scooped up some by hand and took pics

Definitely looks like a banded killfish to me.

 I’m confused Bruce as I didn’t think Oneida had any , far as walleye fry this time of year they be bigger , in the spring I would have trouble , walleyes will eat there own as a last resort but that’s from reading articles

I really don’t know much about the minnows in lake. If I saw them in the water I would have called them a log perch but they are clearly different.

Bet the biologists at the Cornell Research Station on Oneida could provide some good information on lake minnows. Randy Jackson is always helpful. Try forwarding those pictures.
