free Children’s Spinfishing for Trout Clinic,
Tuesday March 29, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at
Olney Manor Recreational Park, Olney Maryland. This incredible program is sponsored by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission’s (M-NCPPC) Montgomery County Department of Park and Planning and the Seneca Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
Advance reservations are required for children ages six to 16 with an adult and can be made using the new
ParkPass Registration System online, so set up your account and register! Go to
www.parkpass.org or after setting up your account online you can use the integrated Voice Recognition system by calling 301-962-1477!
Note: All participants
must set up a
ParkPass account
prior to the program to register! You can do that online or drop by one of the Nature Centers or the Black Hill Visitor Center!
Participants need to bring their own bait, lures and light fishing tackle and meet at the Olney Manor Recreational Park, off Georgia Avenue (Rt.97) and Emory Lane, at the lower pond below the Olney Swim Center. We will have a few loaner rods available. All people age
16 and older must have a Maryland fishing license and a trout stamp to possess trout. Children under 16 do not require a license or trout stamp. A hot dog and soft drink will be provided for each participant for lunch.
