My all time favorite is a beer called TKO out of wind river brewing company in pinedale wyoming. It is technically a barley wine because it has an alcohol content of 16%. It's a dark beer similar to a stout but smoother in my opinion. The only problem is they will only serve you two glasses in one sitting because they only brew one batch a year. The reason for that they said is it costs to much to make and they barely break even with it. So I usually just go fill up the growler and take it home.

I also like land shark a lot easier to find and goes well with fish!

If any of you ny'ers havnt had Ommegang yet you're missing out! The most flavorful beer I've ever had. Often companies list the flavor they tried to capture with their beer, but I can never taste them. Ommegang is the first brewery where I can taste the subtle difference between ingrediants. It's truly wonderful. Out of staters...not sure how you could get some. But the brewery is in Cooperstown, ny. They have concerts occasionaly. Make the trip!
