OPEN WATERS
« on: Feb 08, 2024, 01:17 PM »
Just getting antsy. Has anyone driven by any lakes that are open yet? With these winds it shouldn't take much longer before all are open. I think it is going to be a great year. Keeping fingers crossed.

How far north are you? Central Indiana has been ice free for 10 days or so.
Forecast for today is low 60s

About 43 miles south of lake Michigan. I was thinking that there may be open water nearby. Thanks for letting us know. I am guessing that I will wait another week or so.

Was up at the lake today near North Webster and it opened up completely yesterday.  Won't be long for you I expect.
