Been there, Done that. We froze 24 pints. It makes a pretty big mess, but it is nice come January when the snow is here and no fresh veggies to be found.

This year we did everything outside. I have one of those huge propane turkey fryers and you can get 25 to 30 ears of corn in one easily. With 2 people cutting and 2 bagging it worked out great. Done in no time.  :flex:

Canned 16 pints and froze 20 of. Not too much of a mess, and well worth the effort. I know exactly what's in them ;) Now I gotta go dig potatoes :)
