Trip to Ontario

Caught a few nice one's up at Bob's Lake Ontario, the Pike, Largemouth and Walleye bite was big. Half oz spinnerbaits in a Sunfish pattern was the hot bait worked slow and deep on the deeper weedlines. Hit Lake Ontario and the Salmon River on the way home, landed 3 Kings and a Coho. Had a 13lb 38.5" Northern and a couple 10 pounders but unfortunately didnt bring the MFF card, all fish were released except for a smaller Walleye and the Coho.
Good Fishing.

Definitely a great trip!
Whenever I plan to go somewhere and fish it gets screwed up.
It looks like you nailed this one.

Thanks guy's, we usually catch a bunch of Pike, Smallies and Largemouth plus a few Lake Trout and Walleye (dawn & dusk only for Wally's) in June but size is usually a bit dissapointing. Think from now on will head up there in September for both size and quantity plus the Walleye were hitting the weedbeds all day long. Only downsides were the Smallies were a little off and deeper, just a few smaller fish caught on Tubes and Senko's and the kids didnt land a King but at least they got to fight a few. Looking forward to the fall Muskie and Walleye bite here in Jersey.
Good fishing all.

Oh Lord - there he is, it feels like a big one, please don\'t let me lose him, I\'ve never caught one this big before. I\'ll try not to horse him, and if I land him, I promise to release him, and make a graphite replica, if my wife says it\'s ok. Thank you for the Rapalas...

Thanks again.....Real pretty scenery and solitude up there this time of year. To be one of the only boats on that fairly large body of water less than 6 hours from home is really why we make the trip once a year. Also the fishing sure beats the heck out of Jersey for amazing numbers too all day long. But I have to say the Walleye and Muskies here at home grow pretty big, just have to work harder for them and fish the peak hours.
