That's right. Herring don't go up river like the shad do. Some go a little further than Trenton.

Thet must go a bit further, I have caught them in Yardley some year ago. I will be heading to Yardley Sunday to try again. I will post my results. Good news is I have some herring frozen from last trip that will get me started for stripers and cats!
