First trip of the year.Got to the lake about 10:00 and found that the water was brown. The surface
water temp.was in the high 40's.Trolled the usual tackle for lake trout and came up empty. It
was nice just to be out in the boat on a sunny day.

We launched out of seven points. There was a lot of debris floating on the water. We tried going to James
Creek to see if the water would be any clearer but it wasn't.I might try again Sunday.
