Heading up there sunday for carp, northerns, and gar i guess. Im goin with my dad and a few guys we met ice fishing that have been goin there fo years. Any news on how the bite is and any tips? Thank You!

Was out on cayuga sat 5/19...saw a few carp jumping. Caught a 5 lbs largie on a spinnerbait and a few others.

Depending on where you go, you can probably still get into some nice bullhead too.

I was just there on the 22nd. Bite was really hot for Pickeral and Largemouth. Natural color suspending stickbaits and shad raps was the ticket. Found most fish between 4 and 10' of water. Wherever there is some weeds (dead or alive) transitioning to sand or rocky bottom will be a good place to start. Also picked up a few rockbass in the 12" range. Oh... and for the record, I fished the Union Springs area and further north.
