Well, I just got a job at Keewaydin state park in alex bay, and was wondering how the fishing is there? Any tips from those who have fished there before?

I grew up in Alex Bay and fished all over from shore.  Keewaydin wasn't very good to me fishing wise.  The only real luck we had was for perch in the spring.  Its all rocky without much for weed cover along the main channel, and plenty of current.  The marina part is shallow with plenty of weeds.  I remember having luck one day using a minnow right on bottom, like a bullhead rig.  Also, I was just a kid most of the time I fished it, so it might just not have fit my skills (we pretty much just fished with minnows off the docks), although I did try it a few times in my teens without luck.  Knowing what I know now, I'd say xraps after dark out in the current might change my opinion of fishing it from shore  :).  Let me know if it works.
