From my experience, Hink has never been that great.  I've caught some decent (2 pound) smallies along the dam, as well as rockies and perch.  Nothing really to speak of though.  I've heard the same from many others as well.  The West Canada Creek, which flows out of the reservoir, is great for browns.

I only live bout 15 min from there.Not much for fishin other than the brookies that come in from the west canada.I would say fish the west canada for the trout.I have heard of perch,trout and bass being caught from shore though

I have caught small moth and rock bass tonbs of bullhead. Onece in a while a trout bout not very often. head north a little further for some nige brookies in the west canada. If you go there bring the bug dope black flies are hot
