BTW, trivia question -

Anyone actually know why the Steelers only have US Steel's logo on one side?

Mac

Are you going to enlighten us if we guess or is the a straight question?

Cause they're all right handed and it would be crooked if they put it on the left side with that hand.

That should be the dumbest answer to your ? Mac  ;D

because they are cheap, they wanted to see if they liked the logo before going all out and putting it on both side of the helmet, when they went to the playoffs they changed their helmets from gold to black to accent the logo, and kept it on one side for luck

This from a guy who supports a team that could only afford to put the team logo on one side of the helmet.

Because Japan Steel is getting the other side? ::)

http://media3.steelers.com/tradition/logohistory/

the only protest was being able to change the word steel in the logo to steelers

Dang it.  You're right - and I knew it.  You beat me to it. :cursing:

By the way - they're the only NFL team without cheerleaders too.  Way back many years ago they had them for a few years, but Art Rooney thought they were too distracting to the players.
