Walking stick startled the stuff outa me!!

I was standing in my parent's driveway Sunday morning just enjoying my coffee by myself, when I glanced down and saw this walking stick crawling up my leg.  I'd like to report that I calmly put my coffee down and watched it crawl, but that would be a lie.    Eventually I got it onto my truck bumper, changed my shorts, and went and got the camera. 

I thought the pics came out pretty cool so here you go.

No he was released back into the lilacs. 

My dad somehow ended up with my auger gas after our last ice outing in Feb.  He claims it was an honest mistake, but I know him better than that.     I took it back and told him to get his own!
