Strange but true 2

Similar to Glenn's story but chasing bows yesterday. Started as usual with a few set ups,depths etc. First fish Gardy with a 3# bow on a bronze DB completely smashed it. . So i throw same lure on. Fish 2 me with a bow on the Bronze with the bow jumping out of the water with my lure. By 7AM we were running 4 lines with the bronze DB. 10 bows netted in 5 hours lost 2 more all on the same lure...

Good day, some tasty vittles there.

It was funny when the kids put that DB on I told them it wouldn't work because it didn't have an eye, shows how much I know.

There’s something to be said for eyes on lures, but there are times it just doesn’t matter. Saying that... I only have small assortment of spoons, mostly mooselook wobblers, The most successful one I have is the only one with an eye sticker.

Ive caught about 40 fish this year on the same lure... Sewn Smelt. 😂

We were near another boat for a while that was running sewn smelts and it looked like an exercise program watching them reel fish in, they wanted nothing to do with mine.
