Thanks for the tips. For my very first crappie trip ever I ended up with 13, caught solely on the beetlespin with no spin. Although none were very big I still had a blast. I'll have a decent lunch tomorrow.



when you say no spin, you mean you took the spinner off?

The spinner wasn't attached in the package that I opened and since it worked so well without it I never got around to attaching the spinner to the jighead.
