Obed Lake & Creek?

I'm hitting Obed Lake down between Edson & Hinton for May-Long with fly-rod a-blazin'...  Anyone have any pointers or recommendations about this area?  Heard some record Browns have been pulled out of here in the past.  Anyone know the best way to access the creek on the east end of the lake?  Cheers!

From west to east in the middle of the lake is the old creek bed that used to run through, its the deepest part of the lake and troll that area on hot days.  The weeds to the north on colder days (but very shallow).  The lake was stocked in 2007 with browns.  Call me if you need more info.
