10-23-11 sunday Bass lake

Tom Jr and I hit Bass lake sunday  around noon i would say, met abishop for the first time.
We drifted and jigged the best we could with the wind-wasn't a lot of it, really died down towards night fall.
Water was between 51 to 52 degress, couldnt buy a weed on the lake.
Caught 5 or 6 eyes, some were realy close like 13 3/4, but JR did hookup on 1 nice fat 20 incher, dark colors, in the deeper waters  .

Caught about 15 eyes today. Too bad only 1 keeper. Got into a school of white bass and probably caught 10 in 2 minutes.  That was hot and FUN. Also caught a couple decent perch a crappie and 2 nice bass with about another 10 littler ones. Fished in a new spot trying to stay out of the cold wind. Was over towards the pocket in 2-3 fow. I was surprised to find that many fish there. Did good enough to keep us there for 4 hours. By then we were freezing.

Hope to spend more time there this cold season.

Saw a little cluster. Nothing worth saving on the gps. Cold weather is coming. Hoping to live out there this winter. 3-4 times a week would be nice.
