10/2/13
Got out this morning from 9:30 to 11:25.  Got these nice gills in 23 to 29 fow. Smallest 7 1/2 and largest 9 1/2.  Had a lot of throw backs.  Don't mind catching throw backs when you are catching nice fish. Caught 3 doubles.   Mostly tightlining.  Caught about 4 on a bobber rod.  All on crickets.

Up here in Michigan is 25, and either way, it looks like you had a rockin' day!  :flex:

No bag limit on gills in Indiana.  These fish were caught in Michigan and I mis-counted. The last few times I have been out I have mis-counted but always the other way.  I guess that is what happens when you get to my age.  ;D  By the way, hope to see you up on Gull this winter.  Loves those smelt.

Curious, how many smelt do you catch on a good day? is there a limit? Drove by Gull a couple years ago. If I remember this is a deep lake.

Nice catch as usual
Sounds like you need a tally counter, can find a cheap one for under 5 bucks, would beat getting fined.
