If I remember correctly, there were some hotels/resorts on Wawasee that wanted to have the no anchoring rule so they could have their own piers or a swimming beach (something along those lines).

Unfortunately, some people just have no idea what common courtesy even is...

still kind of confused on this huh So if I am a duck hunter and I want to anchor in the shallows to set decoys. I know of a few places that is less than 200ft from shore. Is this lake specific or what?

All the agreed order states is that they can place buoys out in the lake.  What they write on them is up to them, as DNR has no rules on what they write on them.  No shoreline rules have changed.

If you read the link I posted which is a letter from DNR, it clearly states law enforcement will not ticket anyone moored or anchored.

As a result, the Department will continue to not take action against any individual who has moored or anchored his or her boat within 200 feet of shoreline, provided the individuals onboard have abided by all other applicable operating laws in arriving at that point.

Having said this I think common sense still applies.  You show up to hunt and anchor up next to a house and start blasting you can probably expect some issues.

Agreed, if no ones outside and on thier pier its ok in my book to fish on thru.
If someones there use common courtesy and give a wide birth, its like ice fishing. Don't set up next to me unless I'm ok with it- you can be close but not on my personal  space.

You hit the nail on the head with this one wallin. Common courtesy can go a long way.
