St Joe river
« on: Apr 11, 2018, 06:34 PM »
Haven't been up yet this year ,i usually fish it hard but with all the high water this year along with the up and down temps I just didn't think it would be fishable under normal circumstances. If any one has been up that way I was just wondering how it was fishing ,I'm still going regardless

I was there yesterday, hooked one fish in around six hours. The water is high, and I don't know the area well, but I fished around two other guys, and they didn't catch anything either.

I was fishing for walleye.

May want to be careful.  There's also a separate river up in Mishawaka/Elkhart called the St. Joe River.

Understood, I was fishing in Elkhart, why would I need to be careful? Is there regulations on walleye there that I missed?

Yeah, I fished this morning with no luck. I got pretty wet, but the 30 mph winds dried me off pretty quick. When are we gonna catch a break on the weather? Lol

Fished Leeper yesterday afternoon. Saw several hookups and a couple landed, but no luck for buddy and me. Then moved to Elkhart to try for some walleye, again no luck but managed a couple smallies and rock bass.
