Dick, From what I understand, "photoripoff" wants $400 in order to store unlimited photos and post those images on other sites (3rd party hosting).   I created an account on "postimage", but haven't used it yet to see how user friendly it is.

https://postimages.org/

Here, I'll try one now :

Seems pretty easy to use and NO FEES!  (yet)

Did you click the BB Code option and then click copy on your computer? Than paste in the box? It may not be enough that the BB code is highlighted. You may have to physically click copy and then paste.

On photobucket once the code was highlighted you were copied. Don't think that is the case with Imgur.

If you're the man on the left to me you look like the actor Gary Sinise that was the Lt. on Forest Gump. Anyone ever tell you that?

Woh!
This is what Boon was talking about Dick.
I typically like to limit my photos for posting between 100-200 KB
Open the photo in Windows Paint.
there are other programs that will do the job but Paint works fine.
In the Home tab on the upper right you will see a selection for resize
Press it and then I use the percentage selection.
Then change it from 100 to something smaller.
Say, 30
Then save the file and look to see what size it ended up as.
Do this a bunch till you find what works best for you and your typical camera setting that you use to take fishing photos.
I have a dedicated Canon for fishing and 30% works best for that.
For the iPhone I will use 26%
Keep them small for this kind of stuff.

Tip - keep the original photo as is by saving with a new name after you resize it.
I simply stick a small case letter "a" after the photo number.
Then I use these "a" pics for posting or emailing.
Works great like this on FB too if you do that.

Good luck
Mac

OH OH?   Found out that if you delete image at Postimages site it also deletes image at any forum that you have posted it at.
That's OK as long as I remember it??

OK!  Now I'm getting the idea!  Except that I found that , if I deleted the photo at the Postimages site it was also deleted at the Forum?  I will remember that in the future and leave photos stored at Postimages the same way I would have at imgur or photobucket!
