Does anyone have any insight into where I can find the knob the locks the handle in place for a pfleugger ultralight reel.
My initial search hasn't been successful, only to find out the part was discontinued.

Thanks in advance,

Jeremy

We are so tired of power loss. Its decision time and we are strongly considering installation of a Generac 22 KW stand by generator.
Any opinions on the Generac are appreciated
Thanks
John

RIP. I've seen the Allman Brothers live more times than any other band. Good memories.

what a  great year so  far ....between trout and  panfish my  fly rods are getting a great workout as is the  fly bench ...i  been  doing a  bunch of  foam spiders  and  frogs   i'm surprized how man trout in ponds  hit the foam spiders ...... black has been my  best i  put a  bright  pink post on it's back  so i can see it ....(getting old)  later today i will start restocking the   boxes  keep  tying   and  keep  fishing  ;D

Glad you are doing well with the fly rod Trap. I just got back from Florida but didn't have any fly gear, just spinning rods.

I just did finally get out locally as I dropped my wife and granddaughter off on a field trip and I had a few hours to kill. Shook the rust off and caught some stockers. Felt good to wave the magic wand again.  Now stop raining already.

i broke a small piece  of my cork handle on my TFO rod ....i read that  you can replace  one  ring on the  handle has anyone  ever done that or should i replace everything......the rod is  fishable  it's  just not  right

Been making open and ice rods for a few years. Much easier if its the bottom cork/butt.
In theory you should be able to drill and grind out the broken section and replace it. Gotta get to the blank for a solid repair.
It all depends on where it is. I have cork and butts if you need something? If you need something LMK I can drop it in the mail I have bags of thick and thin rings. Send me a PM

I'm able to get real slow if I drop my main all the way into the water and put the motor in gear to keep the prop from spinning. But my kicker is a 6hp and my boat is heavier than yours. If you are getting a new 9.9 they idle down amazingly slow. Especially the E.F.I. Merc ProKickers that have lower final drive gearing. They make a 9.9 carb version but it doesn't idle as low or have the lower gearing. I'd love to upgrade to one of them but they are spendy!

Mac couldnt he adjust the idle down to get less speed?

Of course, if there is any adjustment available.
However, sometimes they are already bottomed out and the motor is already at its lowest RPM.
This is a good suggestion.
I did this on a small Mirrocraft I had with a 25hp Yamaha.

The 8hp Honda on my Lund was already at the lowest possible idle.
