tried the strap last night, we set up at evens road but with the wind and the rain we only lasted for about 45 min, brought in one small perch in that time, almost impossible to bring a hook in without weeds in that area as well.

Straps been very good. but you need a boat. And before you ask, they are biting pretty much everywhere. ;D ;D

What kind of tackle/bait are you nailing all the fish with Engineman? Pike and walleye both biting right now?

went out tonight, fished from shore on the south end, got 2 small perch, a small pike, and a nice walleye in the 2-3lb range, however the walleye had some sort of weird worm/parasite things attached to its belly, about 6-8 of them, not sure what they were. Has anyone else came across this? also got checked by the CO's this evening as well

I was out at Evans rd last night for a couple hours and was skunked for the first time in 3 years on blackstrap not even a nibble!!

Made it out for the first time this year tonight, got one whitefish 3.1 lbs, only bite of the night, was out for about 3 hours

I caught one about 5 lbs. Whitefish that is. It's already in brine and will be on the smoker later today!!!
