Title: Dillon Reservoir
Post by: Unclegillhunter on Aug 08, 2019, 02:04 PM
Anyone fish there? Just wondering if a guy would have any luck from the banks. Looking at third week in September. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Keep it safe! JDL

Looks like you're not limited to shore as you can rent a boat according to another link.

Here is information on the reservoir.

I don't fish Dillon very often, I've only ice fished it for kokanee. It is one of the first lakes to freeze, the kokes aren't big but fun to catch. Some nice browns come out of there and is one of the few lakes in the US that has arctic char. Here's a link to a guide service up there.  http://fishdillon.com/

Well thanks for the reply! I looked at the boat rental possibilities pretty spendy but may rent if things work out. Planning on fishing with a couple of folks that don’t really fish that much so don’t know if I want to run a boat and help with the fishing. Ronco mentioned a guide may check into that.
