Title: Prove you are a human
Post by: Doubles Shooter on Feb 27, 2024, 06:07 AM: Went to log on this morning and get a screen wanting me to prove I am a human. Both here and Ice shanty. What gives?

BTW Every time I come back to the forum, I still have to prove I'm human. Both here and the Shanty.

I never log out.. the stay logged in box is always checked

Do you really doubt we are human .give me a break I'm not accepting the cookies sorry it's not worth the dangers .....and why didn't Scott inform us ahead of time christ he can see our IP numbers

What’s the huge problem anyway? The site probably needed a layer of security. Not exactly unimaginable in these times.

They change things so often with pc's I just P & M for an hour and get on with it, the new computer is so smart that every morning it tells me that "I am BACK-UP" from being idle.....h2l

Server was being overloaded by garbage bot traffic, can either wait for a slow server or just the minor Human check screen that pops up. I figured that was the best way to keep the site running smooth.

This weather bites guys! Worst ice situation ever here in my 50 some years and my 80 some year old fishing buds say the same, unreal season.

Actually, I always loved ice fishing.
I've stated this numerous times over the years.
However, I much prefer soft water fishing.
And the colder temps, especially standing on the ice, plays havoc with my neuropathy and is very painful.
As time passed, the pain would linger for a couple/few days after ice fishing.
