And Lyme's Disease is very common out there. I think the guys on this site that live in the northeast can back me up on that.

It's not just Lyme Disease now, either.

There are currently about a half dozen tick borne illnesses that are of varying prevalence out here in the North East (including one really nasty one that makes you allergic to red meat).

I have Lyme and it really is a nightmare, I do not blame people for being concerned. I was bitten behind the knee as a child and I felt like I was walking on a broken leg, nobody could figure it out until I came down with flu like symptoms a few days later. I now have a lot of pain with that same knee. Some doctors say with absolute certainty that Lyme is the cause. Other doctors say that's impossible and won't even entertain the idea. Its kind of insane that something so prevalent is still such a mystery when it comes to diagnosis, treatment, and long term consequences. I'm now in a situation where the only doctor that actually wants to help me is a disease specialist that I can't afford. That being said I'm still not interested in yet another "vaccine", seems like a potentially dangerous and lazy way of avoiding Lyme.
