Did some trout fishing, had some fun trolling with utra lite rod's 81/2 and 7 foot rods micro lite from bass pro. the guy's from work had a great time catching the trout.

Looks like you had a blast. Did you get them on lake Michigan , or, a stocked trout lake? I remember when they used to stock Hidden Lake in Merrillville back in the 70's. We would get our limits each day until they needed to be re-stocked.

Kewl, I caught my first rainbow trout there back in the 60's. Are they stocking them now? Do you know?

no off the shore with a pin tail crappie jig chartruse and a pink head tiped with beemoths most of them were right on shore after like nine they moved out to the deeper water my buddy was catching them on little popers to.

no charge just make sure your all legal because i have been cheaked four out of five times i have been there this year.and they come more then once a day so dont try taking your five home an comeing back they will geat you i seen one guy they took his truck and all his equipment left him there with a handfull of papers.

They still need to be 14 inches to be a keeper? Do you know when they stocked them last, or how many were put in? Are there a bunch of guys there? Also, do you have to be a lake county resident to fish. Thanks, Al
