OK, the Indianapolis Star is reeporting today that the musky egg taking is finished for the year. They harvested over 1.5 million eggs this year (a record year) from Lake Webster. Also, a record of 600,000 were taken in one day! Good news for some.
Also, a record number of Bald Eagle nests were counted this year too. Nice to hear. Hopefully the IDNR is not forgotten when funding is needed.
