Another pig brook trout in the mounting process
« on: Sep 04, 2017, 09:37 AM »
Was deleting pictures and organizing files on my computer, in anticipation of moving over to a newer computer the wife bought me, because she got tired of me #ithiing about issues with the old one.  ;D

Anyway this is one of a few pig brook trout (shipped whole frozen out of one of my ponds) I sold to a gifted taxidermist, taxidermy instructor, and replica maker in New Hampshire (Rick Krane of Hinsdale, New Hampshire).

As you can see it's in the mounting process by Rick with a custom cast head and fins (Better quality salmonid mounts use custom cast heads and fins as they are nothing but grease bleeders).

This fish was in the 5 lb. plus range.
