Best Bait for Bullheads

I want to catch some BullHeads but dont know what to use or what size hook or what kind of set up to use...Please help!

i use nightcrawlers on a long shank number 6 or 8 hook.  For weight i use a small egg sinker above a small split shot about 14" from the hook.

8-12 hooks with nightcrawler on either a slipsinker rig or just splitshots even. Basically the same as bigred's rig.
