Title: Thanksgiving trout fishing

I will be visiting my in laws in the Albany area over Thanksgiving and my son and I are looking to get out to do a little trout fishing on either Friday or Saturday.  Wondering if anyone has any recommendations?  Looks like our options are a little limited since it seems only the Kinderhook, Batenkill, and Kayaderosseras Creekseem are still open at this time of year.  I'm not looking for any secret spots or anything like that just the best chance to catch a fish and enjoy some time with my son.
