got 2 yesterday morning on small creekchubs fishing for eyes. both were keepers but were released. have pulled alot of monsters outa there this time of year in the past! large jerkbaits and spinners worked very slow is the key! keep them very close to the shoreline espechially in heavy cover! orange and black xrap has been the key for me. get the biggest one(s) you can get. you WILL loose a few!!!!

not yet but it should be any time now, and when it starts it is slammin for just a few short days!(unless you can stay on them). i fish from shore untill i get on them, then get the boat out to stay on them for a while when possible. this rain the next few days makes it harder but will atleast getum started. kinda makes it hard deciding between hog smallies on the big lake or hog eyes in the river. so what would you do??????????????????????? ??? ???

i do better in the summer for numbers, but spring is by far better for the hogs!!!! preferably live creekchubs in the madium size range for best results, but i have a few tricks i like to use with them!!!
