You did an outstanding job with the work you did Glen. You didn't miss a beat in making it very functional. That motor sure runs sweet. The frosting on the cake is that it catches fish, lots of them.
You did a great job of building your rod holder post for the downriggers, but I believe you will find theminadequate for the downrigger rods once you begin to use them... i did the same thing years ago, and wound up with rods overboard, because they were not strong enough. It is a simple fix however as youcan always get some Big Jon rod holders and mount them to the same post. The boat looks great, andwill be a great fishing platform once you start...
