I think they may have gotten lost somewhere ;D

Seriously, I'm guessing that if we don't get some serious rain real soon, a lot of flowing waters won't get stocked for the 2nd Fall in a row :P

I actually saw a stocking truck not far from where I live (driving, not parked) on October 11th, I checked the stocking reports the next several days after and nothing!  My guess is they could've just been checking water temperatures/flows.

Looks like the last week of october we could get some precipitation.  Fingers crossed.

Your area gets a lot more attention. ;)  The number of fish planted in the Aquarium is ridiculous....borderline wasteful.  Comes down to politics I bet....more people and more votes in Southern Maine.

they only put just over 7,000 trout and salmon in there last year, is that a lot ?   ;)

Browns are the only fish that holdover in there, and maybe only 10% of them, just a guess.  I had to laugh when they put over 100 salmon in there at the end of June last year, in water approaching, if not, 70*F.  Solid Investment!

LOL.  Didn't you know that poached salmon is a delicacy

Getting OT, but Fall-related.  With the way the weather has been, they should consider extending the Sept. 30 closing date for month or 2.  Make it ALO/flies, C&R.  They do that in lot of other places.  The Shenandoah Nat'l Park is open ALL YEAR under those rules and the natives are doing just fine ;)

so the IFW is being sneaky; a bunch of lakes/ponds have already been stocked they just aren't putting it on the report for whatever reason.   :o

I find that they usually wait a business day before posting, but I noticed several on the listing from this past week.
