I just luv hearing about the mercury thing , at 62 and a life long resident , I’ve eaten my share of fish from the lake and and have been subject to mercury on a job at a college , at my own expense I had a heavy metals test afterwards an my test came back clean , I will agree I don’t care for the taste of  any big fish out of the lake including trout and walleyes and salmon but smoked isn’t bad ,
 But to each there own ,

I Totaly agree with you, I think its just that some fishermen just get the big ole skunk when fishing for kings on Lady O . And then have nothing better to say, other than negative crap.. just saying

I haven’t been on this earth as long as FnR or some of you guys, but, have consumed a lot of fish from Ontario waters. Including perch and walleye. Last time I had a physical, 6 months ago, blood lab said I was clean of Mercury.😉 when I start glowing in the dark, I’ll worry about it then!
