Just wondering if the Maumee has a fall run of fish. Walleye/trout/salmon whatever.

I think there is always some resident walleye in the area.  Probably would need to poke around a bit and find the holes.

Long drive for strippers. Plenty of skanky ones in Indiana

Help me out here. You mean strippers or white bass? You believe its better than the spring walleye run?

White black and brown strippers are all ok in my book. When it comes to stripers I prefer the lighter colors

I are again I went to the Maumee one time and never again ! Was just letting anyone know I HEARD from the locals there they the striper run was more intense than the wallet run and they had good size to them. I believe you can look at the pics at the website of Maumee tackle if they are still in business

Those are I believe White Bass that are shown on that site. They run heavy right after the walleye run in the spring. I've never heard anyone say they catch Stripers in the Maumee or lake Erie. White bass I know always make a spring run. Not sure about a fall run.

The rivers I fish for white bass do not have a fall run, but if the river has a good shad population the whites will stay all summer amd most of the fall. Just fished the last 2 weekends on the kaskaskia and killed them. Find the shad and they are right there with them. Going to the tippy this weekend to find them and hopefully a striper or two.

Walleye in the spring, followed by the white bass for a few short weeks.

After that, its catfish and carp rest of the year.

Maumee has a small resident population if a guy works hard enough you can pick some walleye at some spots. That river does have some nice crappie in it also, again, location is key.

Can start picking at them walleye again in february as they begin the spring run.
its more than catching food, its also catching a piece of mind and integrity within
