Cheshire and Adams
« on: Nov 08, 2020, 05:20 PM »
I fished the South Hoosic in Cheshire and Adams for a couple hours, from around 11 AM to 1 PM, today.

Today's weather and stream conditions were pretty much the same as yesterday (see my "Pittsfield and Dalton" post) - - except that, if anything, it was even sunnier, without a cloud in the sky.

I started below the Cheshire Harbor dam, and caught two 10", an 11" (darn thing "milted" all over me) and a 12" brown.

Then I drove down to Mullen Mayflower and walked/waded from there downstream to ALADCO, but didn't have a single strike along the way.

After getting home, I had a late lunch (2 PM) cookout - - with swordfish steak (sauteed in olive oil,  wine, lemon juice and herbs) with a bowl of brussel sprout soup, and sides of squash (with a breadcrumb and cheese coating) and beets, washed down with a nip bottle of strawberry wine.

The spawn should be wrapping up.  I had a female shoot eggs all over when I picked her up to remove a fly.
