Best bait or lure for landlocked salmon?

  Help I only have until May for replys! O.K. now what is the the best lute or bait to use for landlocked salmon if you are trolling or on a boat drifting? On Lake Winnipesaukee in NH because I am going to a derby. Thanks!

if your drifting drift a live smelt on a small hook size 8-10 and use a small split shot about two and a half feet above the bait, you can troll this way too ive had success doing both.

We always troll streamers and sewed smelts.

Landlocks in the northeast are Atlantic Salmon.

Sewed on smelts or shiners with sinking fly line....Or streamers.

Ive had the best luck on the Mooselook Thinfish in blue and silver colors... has outfished smelt and other trolling lures numerous times while trolling.  Works on Brookies too.
