Jigwiggler's first outing of the season
« on: Apr 15, 2004, 05:36 PM »
I finally got the pics developed!!  These are pics from my first softwater trip of the season (myself on the left and my father on the right).  March 7th 2004 Seneca Lake NY.  Brown was 30" and the northerns were 31 and 34".  Sorry I didn't get some "fresher" pics but it was a long day of fishing and no one remembered a camera.  So pics weren't taken until we returned home that night.  I normally would have released the brown but he took my jig deeply and was hooked in the gills so it took the ride home.  Mmmmmmm!

Nice Brown. What were you using to catch that fatty?

Thanks Guys!  It sure did put up quite a fight.

VC I actually was targeting smallies when I caught that bruiser.  Casting a 1/2 oz. tube jig from shore!  I've caught trout on jigs before but never like that one.   ;D
