best lures for trolling for pike

Caught a few last weekend trolling johnson silver minnows. I rigged a silver 1/2oz one with a 3" white grub on the hook. Had some hits with no hook ups and caught a couple of small ones. Biggest one of the trip came on a live bait rig with a small fathead trolling for walleye.

All those crazy lures listed, and NO-ONE mentions the Len Thompson " Five 'o Diamonds?!?!  Hands down, the best lure for pike.  At $4 for the #2, best money you will ever spend on a pike lure.

I've been using NK spoons, not the magnums. we have hundreds of them from the king salmon days. I usually cast them but they troll real well too. I swap out the treble hook for a large gap single with the point on the inside of the wobble. That way it hooks less weeds, but if it does the single hook is easy to shake them off with a few jerks.
