I'm going to give river fishing a try this year have been saying it for sometime but I'm going to do it. Whats the best way to hook up a chub for float fishing, ie rig I know how to hook a minnow. lol. I was going to try a leader at bottom hooked to a swivel and another swivel to hook bell sinker up so it could travel. And one more question Ive seen guys using balloons as bobbers, do you just tie balloon on line does that act like a stop? I would guess you just tie the balloon to whatever depth you want minnow to travel. Any help for this novice would be appreciated.
