anybody ever have any luck with the helicopter lures? i still have a big bag of them but have never go a hit on them ??? ???
She said that if i go fishin one more time she was gonna leave me....whell im gonna miss her!!

I bought the helicopter lure pack,  back when they first came out......I never caught a thing on them.... :'(

I think the only thing the helicopter lures catch is SUCKERS..... :laugh:

I still buy them, Northern pike love them in bright orange. Pickeral will take them sometimes in orange or yellow. With a minow on them hooked in through mouth out through gills. (Can`t use live bait here)

if we are talking about the same lures I bought them at  S.I.R.  in winnipeg manitoba - perhaps you are talking about something else. Are they like a jig with a propellor at the back followed by  the hook.They are refered to by many names around here.I call them a spin prop jig.

There rubber and they skim across the water like a helicoptor...I think you have a different lure, prolly something that actually catches fish... :D

 I have only caught fish on them lures in a farm pond where the bass have never beeen fished.

I used them in the Charles river by the Newton yacht club. Caught a 5lb. and a 2lb. largemouth and a calico bass.  Caught them all on the chartuse color lure.
