bottom bouncing trout and salmon

Anyone have luck bottom bouncing for trout and salmon? I troll in New Hampshire a lot from a small boat and am always looking for new ways of getting the bait down to the fish. Just read up on bottom bouncing and it seems like a real good method to try. Just looking for any input on this method.

I have caught many Trout trolling about 2.5 mph with a bouncer and worm harness

I have never tried it for salmon but use it all the time for trout. works great i caught 17 lakers in three hours using this method two days ago. biggest was 12 pounds 28 inches.
